Self-Managed DirectAdmin Linux VPS

A Self-Managed Linux VPS is ideal for Small to Medium Enterprises (SME’s) with a WordPress or Custom (PHP) site and company Emails, seeking dedicated resources for mission critical applications and require server maintenance, software and security updates, while managing own day-to-day administrative tasks.

Who Would Benefit from a Self-Managed Linux VPS?

A self-managed Linux VPS is ideal for individuals or businesses that need a dedicated Linux virtual environment without requiring full root access. While we retain administrator-level control for system maintenance and security, you receive end-user credentials to manage your hosting space—including your websites, emails, databases, and more.

This setup allows you to enjoy the flexibility of a self-managed Linux VPS while leaving the technical overhead to us. You stay in control of your content and applications, while we handle the server maintenance, security, and software updates in the background.

There are no limitations on what you can run. Whether you’re hosting a high-traffic blog, a large eCommerce store, or using the VPS as a mail server, this solution provides the resources and control you need. With DirectAdmin as your control panel, you also get an intuitive interface to manage all services efficiently.

A self-managed Linux VPS is the right choice if you want more freedom than shared hosting allows, without the complexity of managing a server entirely on your own.

Dedicated Virtual Private Server

A dedicated Virtual Private Server (VPS) is a space or container on an actual physical device.  This “virtual space” is only accessible by yourself and/or the entity that manages the space on your behalf.  No one else has access to this environment and the resources, i.e. memory (RAM), processor (CPU), storage and the IP address is only allocated to your space.

Memory (RAM)

VPS RAM is the amount of Random Access Memory allocated to your Virtual Private Server (VPS). It’s similar to the RAM in your personal computer — it determines how much your server can do at once.

Processor (CPU)

The CPU (Central Processing Unit) in a VPS is the virtual share of a physical processor that your VPS gets to use. It controls how fast your server can:

  • Run applications

  • Process user requests

  • Handle background tasks

It’s like your VPS’s “brain” — the more CPU it has, the faster and more powerful it is.

Storage (Disk Space)

Storage in a VPS is the disk space allocated to your server — where it stores all its files, including:

  • The operating system (Linux, Ubuntu, etc.)

  • Websites and media (HTML, images, videos)

  • Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)

  • Logs, backups, config files, and software

It’s like the hard drive of your VPS.

IP Address

A dedicated IP address is a unique IP address assigned exclusively to your VPS or website, not shared with any other user or server.

  • It’s like having your own street address on the internet.

  • Unlike a shared IP, where many websites live at the same address, a dedicated IP gives you a private and fixed address for your server or site.
