Our fully managed WordPress services include: WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates; security monitoring and hardening; performance optimization and database maintenance; automated backup management; malware scanning and removal; uptime monitoring; and expert troubleshooting for WordPress-specific issues. Services are provided on your existing hosting infrastructure without requiring migration. Fully managed services do not include graphic design, custom development, or modifications to site functionality beyond standard WordPress maintenance activities.

To provide comprehensive WordPress management services, the Cyberdummies team requires administrative access to your WordPress dashboard and, where applicable, hosting control panel access. All access credentials are stored securely and used exclusively for authorized maintenance, support, and troubleshooting activities. Our team adheres to strict confidentiality protocols, and access is limited to qualified technicians working directly on your account. You retain full ownership of your website, hosting account, and all associated assets at all times.

While we provide expert WordPress management, some plugins and themes are developed by third-party vendors with proprietary code and unique configurations. Troubleshooting highly customized or specialized third-party software may require additional time and expertise beyond standard maintenance activities. In such cases, additional costs may apply, and you will be notified before any extra work is performed. We will always attempt to resolve issues within your existing service package first, but complex third-party integrations may necessitate consultation with the original developers.

Support requests included in your monthly WordPress maintenance package are allocated for use within the billing period in which they are issued. Unused support requests do not roll over to subsequent months and are not transferable between accounts or service packages. Support requests are defined as individual incidents requiring troubleshooting, configuration changes, or technical assistance. Routine maintenance activities such as updates, backups, and security monitoring are performed automatically and do not count against your support request allocation.

Service requests that exceed your monthly package allocation or fall outside the scope of standard WordPress management services are classified as out-of-bundle requests. These requests are billed at R275 per incident and will be quoted before work begins. Out-of-bundle services may include custom functionality requests, complex troubleshooting of third-party integrations, emergency support outside business hours, or additional consultations beyond your package limits. You will always receive notification and approval confirmation before incurring any additional charges.

Cyberdummies implements industry-standard security practices including regular updates, malware scanning, login protection, and file integrity monitoring to protect your WordPress site. However, website security involves multiple factors including hosting infrastructure, third-party plugins, user behavior, and evolving threat landscapes. While we take every precaution to secure your site, Cyberdummies cannot guarantee absolute protection against all security breaches and will not be held liable for damages resulting from unauthorized access, data breaches, or security incidents. We strongly recommend maintaining adequate website insurance and implementing additional security measures as appropriate for your business risk profile.

WordPress management services are provided on a monthly subscription basis. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing at least 7 days before your next billing date to avoid charges for the following month. Upon cancellation, all administrative access will be revoked, automated maintenance will cease, and you will be responsible for ongoing WordPress management. Cyberdummies will provide a final summary of services rendered and recommendations for maintaining your site independently. No refunds are provided for partial months or unused support requests within the current billing period.

Cyberdummies operates independently from hosting providers and is not responsible for server downtime, hosting account suspensions, billing issues with your hosting company, or infrastructure limitations beyond our control. While we work collaboratively with hosting providers to resolve WordPress issues, some problems may require direct communication between you and your hosting company. We will assist in identifying hosting-related issues and provide recommendations, but ultimate responsibility for hosting account management, payment, and terms of service compliance rests with the account holder.
